Hello lovely people…
Well, here we are. This is the very first post. I hope this will become a little online home for all things equine. We’ll cover the good, the messy, and everything in between.
I’ve wanted to start this blog for ages. It’s not because I have all the answers. I really don’t – ask anyone who’s seen me try to catch my horse when he’s “feeling spicy.” It’s because I know I’m not the only one who lives and breathes this mad, muddy, magical world.

Why This Blog?
Because horses are incredible. And let’s be honest, they have a habit of turning our lives completely upside down. They all come with some challenges. Big feelings. Tiny wins and sometimes, a whole lot of self-doubt.
So this space? It’s for honest chats, shared stories, and supporting each other through all of it.
You are so welcome here. If you’re at the yard before work. If you’re battling mud with a wheelbarrow full of dreams. Even if you’re on full livery. You’re fighting off life for quality time with the horses. It’s a tough game to juggle!

What You’ll Find
- Real-life yard tales, warts and all
- Helpful tips and insights without the jargon or judgment
- Reflections on the highs, the lows, and the wobbles in between
- Mental health, confidence, and the reality of juggling life around horses
- A whole lot of love for the little moments – the wickers, the wins, the peaceful hacks
I want this blog to feel like a cuppa and a chat after a long day. It’s like pulling up a chair and knowing someone gets it. They understand the joy and the worry. They even get the “how did I end up with mud in my bra again?” moments.
A Kind, Supportive Space
This isn’t about being the best rider, having the fanciest horse, or hitting certain goals.
It’s about showing up. It’s about doing your best. It’s also about celebrating the small stuff. Celebrate even if it’s just keeping the stable swept. Celebrate managing to ride after a tough day.
No judgment. No snobbery. Just real people, real ponies, and a whole lot of heart.

So that’s the plan. A blog built on connection over perfection. It’s a place to share the real, unfiltered side of horsey life. This includes warmth, kindness, and probably a few questionable selfies from the yard.
Thanks for being here. Truly.
Let’s build something lovely, together 💫
Catch you soon,
